The certification mark for AI output

Your AI is only as trustworthy
as the human who checked it.

Every piece of AI-generated content carries a risk: factual errors, brand misalignment, legal exposure, cultural blind spots. The faster you produce, the more you need someone who knows what to look for.

The Chambers Seal

Applied only where a credentialled person has examined the work.

§ 01
What it is

AI doesn't know what it doesn't know. A person does.

Generative AI produces fluent, confident output at extraordinary speed. It also hallucinates, misreads cultural context, and produces content that looks professional while being fundamentally flawed. The better AI gets at sounding right, the harder it becomes to tell when it's wrong.

Human Friction is a certification mark issued only after a credentialled person has examined the work against a published rubric and added their own professional judgement, the part an algorithm cannot replicate.

Process

Four steps from submission to a seal a regulator can verify.

Receive your assessment with the Human Friction certification mark.

§ 03
The rubric

Structured rigour. Human instinct.

Every review combines a scored seven-dimension rubric with an unscored TASTE Note, the irreducible professional gut check that AI structurally cannot provide.

The TASTE Note
irreducible
“The copy passes every technical check, but it reads as uncanny. A consumer will sense it, even if they can't articulate why. I'd rewrite paragraphs 2 and 4 retaining the structural argument but in a voice that matches the client's existing tone of address.”

§ 04
The reviewers

The mark means a named person took responsibility.

Every seal carries a reviewer’s initials and a verifiable reference to their file. The institution publishes the reviewer roster because anonymity is incompatible with accountability.

§ 05
A real record

Every seal links to a public record.

Anyone can look up what was examined, by whom, and what they found. The certification is not a logo; it is an index to a document.

§ 06
Questions

Questions that ought to be asked.

Q · 01

Who actually reviews the work?

A credentialled human domain expert from our curated guild. Reviewer identity, credentials and file history are published on every certification.

Q · 02

What qualifies someone as a reviewer?

Ten-plus years in their domain, two peer recommendations, a published work sample, and calibration against our v3 rubric.

Q · 03

How do I verify a seal I see in the wild?

Every seal carries a HF-XXXX-XXXX reference. Visit humanfriction.ai/verify and enter the number, or scan the QR. You will see the full public record.

Q · 04

Why the TASTE Note on top of a rubric?

Because a rubric cannot catch what it has not been told to look for. Professional instinct is the part we deliberately leave unscored and unfiltered.

Q · 05

What can’t you certify?

Anything where the reviewer cannot verify the underlying facts, claims, or rights. We decline rather than caveat.

Q · 06

Is this only for marketing content?

No. Legal disclosures, scientific summaries, policy drafts and editorial copy are all within scope, matched to domain expertise.
